About Don Denton
Don Denton moved to Capitol Hill in Washington DC in 1973. Initially working for the US Congress (House Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Foreign Operations), Don left the Committee staff to become a sales manager with Dale Denton Real Estate, Inc. Briefly managing an office in the Dupont Circle area, Don returned to manage the Capitol Hill office of DDRE after the acquisition of BW Real Estate on the Hill. Don has managed that office from 1981 to present.
His business philosophy is built on three pillars. First, attract and retain the best sales staff in the industry. Support, guide and nurture confidence and independence in this staff. Second, immerse yourself in your neighborhood, it’s organizational building blocks and their causes. Don’t just write checks but become involved, lead where appropriate and encourage your staff to do the same. Finally, be honest and truthful to all that seek your professional guidance and assistance. Show up everyday and provide the best service possible.
